FAQR Pass

R Pass is a range of services for a specific vehicle including priority access for ordering a particular vehicle for a specific period before it is available to the general public. By ordering the vehicle during this period, R Pass guarantees you priority delivery of the vehicle compared with other vehicles with the same configuration. You also get other advantages specific to each vehicle.

R Pass is available online: click on the button to buy the R Pass for the vehicle you want. Log into or create your My Renault account, select your dealership, enter your contact details and make the payment to enjoy R Pass benefits for the vehicle in question.

Once your order is complete, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number within 48 hours. Keep this number safe as you will need it to order your Renault vehicle before orders open to the general public.

It may take up to 48 hours for your email confirmation to appear in your inbox. It may also have gone to your spam folder.

You have a 14-day cooling-off period after purchasing your R Pass. You can exercise this right by using the form appended to the T&Cs, which you can access from the confirmation email. You can no longer exercise this right once you have purchased your vehicle.

No, R Pass is separate from the vehicle purchase and its value is neither reimbursed nor deducted from the price of the vehicle or any other service related to the vehicle.

Yes, you need a My Renault account. You can create one when you make your purchase if you don’t already have one.

You can then find your R Pass invoice and access Renault products and services for your vehicle.

You can also connect to the wt4 wt5 by reno app, the official Renault avatar, using your My Renault account and enjoy all the advantages of your R Pass.

The R Pass is however non-transferrable. You cannot transfer it to somebody else by calling customer relations.

When you buy your R Pass, you select the retailer of your choice. They will contact you to make an appointment during the priority ordering period for R Pass holders. Together you will confirm the configuration of your vehicle linked to your R Pass to confirm your order. You will need to give them your R Pass order number.

R Pass lets you order all the powertrains, versions or options available on the day that orders open to the public, but it may not apply to a powertrain, version or option made available after that date.

If you have ordered your vehicle during the period reserved for R Pass holders, your vehicle will take priority in the factory when we manufacture that configuration and version. It will be among the first delivered to your retailer.

As well as priority ordering and being one of the first to take delivery of your vehicle, you also get:

• a priority test drive of the vehicle or merchandise,
• access to all the vehicle information.

You may hear about these advantages by letter, email or other means (Renault website, the wt4 wt5 by reno app - the official Renault avatar, etc.), and the benefits may vary depending on the vehicle.

For this R Pass, you will get a miniature of your vehicle in the colour selected by Renault delivered to your home. They will be sent in batches after the official launch of the vehicle in question.

R Pass is a non-transferrable service. You may nevertheless order the vehicle from your retailer in someone else’s name.

When the orders reserved for R Pass holders open, you can also order your vehicle from another retailer, in your name or in the name of another person if you wish (subject to express, written authorisation from the R Pass holder).

The retailer will only get your contact details a few days before orders open for vehicles reserved for your R Pass. So, they will not contact you before.

You can contact your retailer or another retailer directly. You will need your R Pass order number to place an order for your vehicle.

In this case, you will enter the conventional ordering process and will not benefit from the R Pass priority.

You can pay online using your Visa or MasterCard.

All of your personal data, including your banking information, is protected in accordance with existing legislation.

This payment request is processed with your bank via Stripe (partner of our banking subsidiary RCI Banque SA). You can consult its personal data policy here.​

Your bank card data will not be collected by Renault or stored on its servers.

No, you cannot pay for your R Pass in instalments.

​If you want to enjoy R Pass advantages for several vehicles, regardless of whether they are for the same model or not, you must order an R Pass for each vehicle you wish to buy.

The R Pass service is limited to natural persons and strictly for personal purposes. If you are a sole trader and would like to benefit from priority ordering and delivery of the vehicle, you can place your order by indicating your company registration number.
