unadulterated sportiness
The dual electric powertrain delivers 540 hp (400 kW) and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in less than 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 167 mph on the track. The turbo spirit is back with radical performance.
powerful and instant torque
The two in-wheel motors at the rear develop an instantly available total torque of 4,800 Nm for responsive performance. The specific tyres mounted on 20” wheel rims ensure incredible road-holding.
innovative in-wheel motor technology
By placing each of the two motors inside a rear wheel, all of the power is delivered without loss, for optimum responsiveness and improved energy efficiency. This technique reduces the number of parts and the weight, thereby enhancing Renault 5 Turbo 3E’s agility, performance and driving range. The possibility of controlling the distribution of the torque on each wheel provides optimum control of the front-wheel drive, grip and agility.
unique structure
The carbon fibre superstructure combines lightness and rigidity, on a structure with a spectacular length-to-width ratio of 2 (4.08 m long by 2.03 m wide). Renault 5 Turbo 3E is just as wide as a supercar but tens of centimetres shorter, which could earn it the name of mini-supercar.
sensational driving
With an unladen weight of 1,450 kg and 540 hp in the rear wheels, Renault 5 Turbo 3E offers an exceptional weight-to-power ratio of 2.7 kg/hp. The 2.57 m wheelbase and the lowered centre of gravity with the battery in the floor gives it maximum agility.
customised driving
Several driving modes are available. On the race track, the “race” mode1 and its “drift assist” function2 combined with the rally handbrake allow radical trajectory drifts. On the road, the vehicle’s behaviour can be adapted between comfort and dynamic, via the “normal”, “sport” and “snow” modes3.

brand new platform
The best of Renault Group’s skills and expertise are incorporated into the development of Renault 5 Turbo 3E. The aluminium platform was specifically developed by Alpine Cars engineers to be as light and agile as possible.
available driving range
The 70 kWh battery placed under the floor provides an estimated WLTP driving range greater than 248 miles* on the road with phenomenal peformance.
*Pending official homologation. Actual real-world driving results may vary.
superfast charging
The battery supports ultra-fast charging with its 800-volt infrastructure and up to 350 kW DC power. Just 15 minutes is enough to charge from 15% to 80%*.
*Based on 350 kW charger. Charging time may vary depending on charging conditions, including charger type and condition, on-site power usage, battery temperature as well as ambient temperature at point of use, battery age and state of charge, and if battery safeguarding technology is activated.
