The driving range depends firstly on the capacity of your battery in kWh. The bigger it is, the more driving range you will have. In addition, this, some of the options on your vehicle may have a more marginal impact on your driving range (the size of the tyres for example).
The actual driving range changes according to several parameters: the outside temperature, the profile of the road, your driving style, and your vehicle’s aerodynamics (roof box, bicycle rack, the load or number of passengers you are carrying, etc.). To find out the estimated driving range, check the simulator that takes some driving conditions into account. The driving ranges displayed correspond to a standard configuration and use of the vehicle, and may in particular vary according to the level of equipment.
Charging times given are based on optimal conditions for the vehicle and the charging point. These indications may therefore vary depending on the weather conditions and the temperature of the battery during charging. A “cold” battery performs less well during charging. The activation or presence of some features, depending on the versions, also directly influences your vehicle’s charging performance (for example, planning an electric driving journey on the built-in Google Maps will activate the pre-heating of the battery while you are driving to optimise the charging curve).
The compatibility with certain charging infrastructures or power types (fast chargers, for example, which help to have very short charging times) depends on the vehicle’s equipment level. Head to the configurator to select the most appropriate charging power for your use.
The driving range communicated with the charging times is based on the WLTP protocol*.
