Renault Megane E-Tech electric’s modular AmpR medium platform with its innovative configurations make it possible to optimise its weight and create a very low centre of gravity. This gives you a high-performance and responsive drive.

one-pedal driving⁵
Utilising the steering wheel paddles, drivers can optimise the regenerative braking, allowing the vehicle to decelerate smoothly when the driver releases the accelerator pedal. At the highest level of regenerative braking, the vehicle will come to a stop without the driver having the apply the brake.
This delivers a smoother overall driving experience for all occupants, and maximises the energy that can be recuperated to extend the driving range while also reducing brake pad wear. For situations where more manual control is preferred, the steering wheel-mounted paddles can be used to adjust the strength of the regenerative braking system.

The heat pump, is combined with a system for recovering energy from the motor and the battery, to enhance the driving range of Megane E-Tech electric and ensure the thermal comfort of its passengers, regardless of the conditions. Very useful in the winter.

Like all batteries, electric vehicle batteries are sensitive to extreme temperature fluctuations.
The increased energy efficiency of Megane E-Tech electric offers optimal driving range in all use conditions, both in summer and in winter.
Nonetheless, weather conditions can impact the driving range. Calculate Megane E-Tech electric’s driving range based on your use and the weather conditions.
To optimise the battery life in cold temperatures, we recommend the “winter pack hiver”* pack:
- boost your driving range by approximately 10% on the motorway in temperatures as low as -5°C thanks to the standard heat pump and enjoy faster charging due to the built-in battery preconditioning working with on board Google2 services;
- Heatpump also improves driving range by approximately 20% for city driving in temperatures below -5°C. A true ally against cold weather, the smart energy recovery system captures the heat produced by the battery and powertrain and redirects it to heat the passenger compartment
Megane E-Tech electric is perfectly suited to long journeys as it is fitted with a 60 kWh battery and has a charging power of up to 130 kWh. It has a driving range of up to 285 miles1 WLTP in combined cycle.
The route planner for electric vehicles is the perfect assistant on long journeys. Activate it on your multimedia system* to plan your route. Its predictive feature helps you adapt to your travel conditions in real time and guides you to available charging stations.
Electronic devices have minimal impact on the driving range of your Megane E-Tech electric.
To optimise your daily driving range, adopt good habits and develop a more relaxed and energy-efficient driving style!
On the Megane E-Tech electric central screen, the route planner estimates the anticipated driving range based on the weather conditions, road traffic and speed limits for the selected route.
The dashboard displays the driving range based on the most recent miles driven.
If your driving style or road conditions change during your journey, the driving range displayed on the dashboard may very well be different than the planner’s estimated driving range displayed on the central screen.
The cost of the battery is included in the purchase price of Megane E-Tech electric.
Once you own the vehicle, the battery certificate will become available on your My Renault4 account.
You can also view your battery status on your My Renault app.
Renault offers you an 8-year and 100,000 miles warranty, at 70% of your battery’s initial performance level.
Renault no longer offers battery rental. Vehicle leasing packages are, however, available with the battery included.
